unprecedented field of view and unbiased transcriptome
captured in nanoscale resolution
STOmics proprietary Stereo-seq (SpaTial Enhanced REsolution Omics-sequencing) technology offers researchers a novel tool to explore spatial biology with unprecedented field-of-view, and subcellular resolution, enabling simultaneous transcriptome study and analysis at tissue-, cellular-, subcellular- and molecular level from fresh frozen tissue. Stereo-seq captures mRNA within the tissue on the chip and restores cellular spatial location through spatial coordination barcoding (Coordinate ID, CID), realizing in situ sequencing of tissues for establishing a strong research foundation for in-depth understanding of the relationship among gene expression, cell morphology and cellular microenvironments.
Our innovative staining approach made it possible to integrate the study of pathology and spatio-temporal analysis on the same tissue section.
With up to decimeter-scale STOmics Chip and nanoscale DNB probes, subcellular level details can be collected from any position on an entire tissue section.
Made it possible to integrate the study of tissue staining sections with whole-genome mRNA transcriptomics and proteomics.
Stereo-seq is compatible with fresh frozen samples, and has reliable performance on cells, organs, and embryo sections of various animal and plant species.
Through massive implementation in life Spatio-temporal atlas, species evolution, disease diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis, Stereo-seq and its future technical variations will thus be highly transformative for multiple research fields. It will enhance the overall understanding of human life and advance the redefinition of diseases.
